Acquisition bolsters Paragon's leading market position in Europe

Paragon Group Ltd has announced its acquisition of Lithotech France, the former Danel Group SA, re-enforcing its pan-European reach and affirming its position as the largest print solutions provider in France.

With a reported turnover of €60 million, Lithotech has enhanced Paragon’s commitment to extensive growth throughout Europe, resulting in a business with a combined turnover of more than €200 million and a global supply presence.

With facilities in the UK, Ireland, France, Belgium, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Romania as well as Scandinavia, Spain and Portugal, Paragon has reinforced its European offering with the purchase of Lithotech’s manufacturing operations and its extensive sales network.

Paragon Group Ltd Executive Chairman, Conor Donnelly said: “Paragon has always maintained its commitment to continually seek out operational synergies to ensure the long-term success of our business. This combination will offer considerable benefits to all our customers across the UK, Europe and beyond. We look forward to further growth of the business and a very exciting future.”

Chief Executive, Patrick Crean added: “The acquisition of Lithotech firmly places Paragon on the map. We have always emphasised the continuous development of the business and this has led to us promoting an enviable presence within the UK, throughout the rest of Europe and across the globe.”

As both businesses have historically performed in similar markets, providing a widely comparable product offering, the acquisition will benefit clients with the creation of greater efficiencies through the consolidation of suppliers, manufacturing capabilities and service offerings.

Paragon prides itself on offering new and innovative solutions, adding value and bringing new technological advancements and ideas to the supply chain.

In a bid to create greater cost and time efficiencies, while maintaining high levels of service, Paragon continues to focus on what is best for its customers positioning itself as an obvious choice for any business that requires a global print partner.
