The Sunderland technology awards honour businesses which are at the cutting edge, pushing the boundaries and helping to revolutionise Wearside's economy.
Paragon won for its overall e-commerce strategy and E-commerce platform which is receiving outstanding reviews from its users. The judges were particularly impressed with the company for using new technology to develop its offering and offer more added-value to its customers.
One of the judges declared: "This company is hugely successful, based in the heart of Sunderland and has a formidable reputation in its business field. It is a reputation further enhanced by its innovative use of technology."
