Paragon continue their diversification by acquiring Eddotrans
Eddotrans, a private company, is dedicated to the supply of printed products - such as books, pads and register sets - specific to the transport market. Paragon Transaction’s Print on Demand (POD) in Romorantin, who specialise in short run POD, is their existing preferred supplier.
The business is currently based in the Paris area and will continue to trade under the Eddotrans name but will be fully integrated into the Paragon plant in Romorantin and administrated from it’s headquarters in Cosne. The company will continue to be managed by its existing sales manager, Aude Enquebecq.
Says Yves Vételé, Paragon Transaction General Manager: “Acquiring Eddotrans is a great opportunity. Whilst Eddotrans will benefit from Paragon’s expertise and extend their offering to their customers, Paragon will significantly develop their client base and their presence in the Post and Transport market. We are looking forwards to working together on creating new sales pipelines for the two companies.”
This acquisition is part of Paragon Transaction’s investment strategy aiming at diversifying their offering in order to meet their customers’ requirements and responding to the growing activity of the business. Other recent investments include the establishment of a Paragon plant in Romania; the purchase of a new full colour press and the further expansion of its Paragon e-commerce Platform (PeP) software.
