Paragon innovation assists DVLA with its green initiatives
Paragon Group UK has recently secured a contract with the DVLA to supply V11 forms and plain reels using its innovative production methods that mean all products will be manufactured on recycled material.
The option to go green has not been decided overnight and the V11 forms and plain reels have been thoroughly tested by Paragon and DVLA.
The current forms were being produced using CBS2 paper. Through working together, both organisations recognised that with careful logistical planning and Paragon’s manufacturing capabilities, it was able to test the format using recycled paper, creating a more environmentally friendly product.
Paragon’s Account Manager, Shane Garnett said: “Paragon is proud to be a strategic supplier to the DVLA. We have worked with the company for seven years and, as with all of our clients, we like to meet and exceed expectations with the quality of our products and our innovation in key areas, such as environmental issues.”
He adds: “Our relationship with the DVLA is based on co-operation, understanding and trust. Through this, we have been able to assist the Agency in improving operation efficiency and have helped them to contribute towards their recycling target.”
As environmental issues become an essential part of every company’s activity, Paragon is keen to use the techniques employed with the DVLA to work closely with all of its customers to help them to “go green”.
